Leslie Rehbein Marqua

Leslie Rehbein Marqua came to Handel Choir of Baltimore with over 30 years of experience in the non-profit arts and entertainment industries. Before coming to Handel Choir, she was most recently the Managing Director of Olney Theatre Center for the Arts. Oversight of the construction completion and grand opening of a new state-of-the-art 425 seat theatre was a highlight of her tenure in that position. Leslie has also held leadership positions with the Baltimore Opera Company, Theatre of Nations International Theatre Festival and the storied Baltimore City Fair. She is a Principal with Hathor Associates, a consulting firm specializing in resource development, fund raising, management services, public relations and crisis management for arts organizations. Leslie lives in Baltimore with award-winning theatrical lighting designer Donald Edmund Thomas and two cats. Her son, MJ, is an IATSE stagehand and a Principal with Rolling Stock International LLC, providing support services to the theatrical, music and film industries.
