Chandos Singers
Chandos Singers is a chamber group selected from within the larger Handel Choir encompassing three to four singers per part. The small size of the ensemble particularly suits the intricate and nuanced compositions of Bach and other baroque composers. Chandos Singers often performs in small concert venues allowing the audience to experience vibrantly the delicate sounds of period performance practices. The ensemble is named after the Duke of Chandos, who was an important patron of G.F. Handel.
